About Me

My photo
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, now living in Cheshire, England. I started to write poetry some years ago, as a hobby. I have enjoyed that new venture very much. My preferences are for long and micro-form poetry styles. A first book of poetry ~ Reason Without Rhyme, was published in December 2013. A second book ~ Fifty Seven Pebbles, was published in September 2015...I am presently compiling the content for my third book. Thank you for visiting my Blog... Solar Power....

Gradually raised from the lethargy of indecision,
Lightness assumes a feathery flight of new hope.
Shivers of regrets and unresolved promises ease,
Enlightenment’s source has been truly invigorated.
Shards of this welcome warmth caresses my being,
A mellow mood redirects thoughts as possibilities.
Sunny rays of dusty perspectives dance in shadow,
Reflections emerge in a catchment of viable words.

  10. I love "the lethargy of indecision" because there is a certain lethargy in it that keeps people stuck there, paralyzed.

  11. Lovely and life affirming in a quiet, introspective kind of way AND the title is awesome, to boot.

  12. 'Sunny rays of dusty perspectives dance in shadow'

Shedding new light, bright light, on old wounds or former opinions, to make them either invisible or seen in a new way, can only be healing, either way.
