So much to extol about
gifts already bestowed,
Countless blessings adorn
the grace of life itself.
Opportunities have been and
are still plentiful,
Each accepted and absorbed
with open arms.
Tribulations and tears
have harshly interrupted,
Smoothness and expectations
of life are tested.
Treasures and treats of family
and good friends,
Their touch remains in
abundance long afterwards.
Clasp the goodness of
tenderness and loves found,
Their trace indelibly
etched upon a welcoming heart.
Caring and sharing
reciprocates similar kindnesses,
Helping hands lessen
individual loads of loneliness.
Observing and embracing
greatest of worldly sights,
Naturally inspiring and exalting
in their significance.
This journey moves apace
in a blinking of perception,
Yet it is necessary to
pause and collect the goodness.
