The Coast Road hugs the
landside.
County Antrim peering seawards,
Glimpsing its Scottish
neighbours.
Memories are easily formed
there,
Most return with older
days in mind.
Sunday afternoons with the
old folk,
Those same picnic stops at
Ballygally.
An aura of goodness seeps
inwards,
It stays forever within
every heart.
Many artists have captured
the vista,
Painted, or in long lingering
verses.
This place urges peace in
its midst,
Ulster’s ways thrive in its
shadow.
