Encouraging a tired spirit
Requires gentle persuasion
Especially of oneself;
To stretch beyond the cosy
Comfort of resignation and
Forming of easy habits,
Requires new mettle
From within the internal
view.
Regeneration of energies
and
Enthusiasm occasionally
depends
Upon the urge of
motivation and
Unexpected surges of inspiration.
The first instances of
stepping out
Add courage to the whole
perspective.

Your poem is so true. So easy to remain in the safety of old habits. So nice when we're motivated to move, change, do. Good poem Eileen.
