About Me

My photo
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, now living in Cheshire, England. I started to write poetry some years ago, as a hobby. I have enjoyed that new venture very much. My preferences are for long and micro-form poetry styles. A first book of poetry ~ Reason Without Rhyme, was published in December 2013. A second book ~ Fifty Seven Pebbles, was published in September 2015...I am presently compiling the content for my third book. Thank you for visiting my Blog... Soulmates...

You paint thoughtful bouquets
On those dark and dreary days
Sincerely scented somethings
Colours held in individual pose
When life has its shades of dark
You send rays of sunshine kisses
They peep upon my melancholy
To uplift a spirit’s hidden smile
Quiet whispers of endearment
Dance in flutters of a heartbeat
I sense and feel his true kindness
Knowing how he knows me so well…

  1. There is a special kind of magic in having--and knowing we have--someone who knows exactly who we are and what we need. This is lovely.

  7. O Eileen, such a nice write. Nice words and thoughts, none are cross. Congrats on such a sweet and long romance, I know it is you. (BTW, we are sitting at 46, trying for 50 if I can live that long. It's my second.)

  10. There's nothing like being truly known and understood by someone you love. I think of my beloved and all the small ways we reach out to each other based on years of experience.
